Reps will promote Intermezzo (in-ter-MET-zoe), a new low-dose zolpidem for middle-of-the-night awakening.

You'll hear it's the first drug approved for middle-of-the-night awakening...but zaleplon (Sonata) is already used this way. Both are short-acting and last about 4 hours.

Intermezzo will cost about $220 for 30 sublingual tablets...compared to about $20 for generic zaleplon.
