Symjepi (sim-JEH-pee) will compete with epinephrine auto-injectors (EpiPen, Auvi-Q, etc).

A big difference is Symjepi is a prefilled syringe...NOT an auto-injector. Symjepi 0.3 mg will be available soon...and 0.15 mg will follow.

Don't be surprised if some payers steer patients to Symjepi. It costs about $250 for a two-pack...compared to about $300 for a two-pack of generic EpiPen, $400 for generic Adrenaclick, and $4,900 for Auvi-Q.
