Schering is coming out with Claritin RediTabs, a new loratadine tablet that disintegrates on the tongue.

The patent on the original Claritin expires in about a year...the new RediTabs will have a new patent life.

There's not much of an advantage...except for patients who don't like to swallow tablets.
