The CDC just released their new STD treatment guidelines. They're an update of the previous guidelines from 5 years ago.

They emphasize oral, single-dose regimens when possible.

For uncomplicated gonorrhea, the CDC still recommends a single dose of ciprofloxacin 500 mg...ofloxacin 400 mg...cefixime 400 mg...or ceftriaxone 125 mg IM.
