Hepatitis A vaccine is now recommended for ALL kids.
Until now, routine vaccination was recommended only for children who live in states that have high rates of hepatitis A.
Now all toddlers should get hepatitis A vaccination between the age of 12 and 23 months. It's hoped that universal vaccination will eventually help eliminate hepatitis A transmission in the U.S.
