Norvir inhibits certain cytochrome P450 enzymes in the liver. This means that patients taking Norvir could develop toxic blood levels of drugs that are metabolized by these same enzymes.
Some of the drugs that SHOULDN'T be given with Norvir are Seldane, Hismanal, Valium, Halcion, Demerol, and Mycobutin.
